The Vision-Luxo WAL026781 ESD-Safe LED UV Magnifier with 5 Diopter Lens, 45 in. Arm, Edge Clamp Mount, Black has a 400mm UV-A lightsource that makes it ideal for inspecting conformal coatings as well as for the detailed inspection of welds, solder joints and other areas of stress concentration. UV tracer conformal coatings observed under the WAVE UV lightsource will glow a dark purple color, allowing for easy identification of uncoated areas. This model offers shadow-free magnification with light coming from both sides, as well as three-dimensional magnification with light coming from the left or right. The 3D-feature is especially helpful when working with circuit boards and similar delicate objects.

The self-balancing shade and hands-free neck assembly make exact positioning easy. The spring-balanced arm provides maximum vertical and horizontal movement, and will always stay in the right position without drifting.
